The tasks of a Mech Engineer

Contribute to the mechanical design of installations and systems, selecting components and equipment in consultation with the project team
Coordinate with suppliers, purchasers, and other stakeholders, and support procurement, transport, and logistics activities
Think along on improvements to existing designs and installations
Support testing, inspections, and project commissioning

What do you bring?

  • An MBO qualification in mechanical engineering (level 4) or equivalent, or relevant work experience
    • Interest in technology and project-based working
    A structured and practical approach to work
    Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 10–15%)
    A flexible, proactive approach and a solution-oriented mindset
    Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.

    Experience that's a plus

    Experience with mechanical design and component selection
    Working in a technical project environment
    Knowledge of standards and regulations such as CE, PED, or ATEX
    Experience with ERP systems (such as ISAH, Dynamics, or SAP)
    Involvement in FAT/SAT or design reviews

    You’ll be part of a project team that includes a Project Manager, CAD Engineer, E&I Engineer, and Process Engineer. You report to the Manager Projects and work closely with colleagues both within and outside the project team.
