The role of a Service & Commissioning Engineer

The tasks of a Service and Commissioning Engineer

Performs service and maintenance to existing installations
Tests and commissions DMT's installations. Supports the customer with keeping the installation operational
Reports on the maintenance on, the commissioning of and the performances of the installation
Trains the customer how to make optimal use of the installation, instruct them and explain to them how the process works, explains how the customer simply can handle several problems themselves by making certain actions their own
Is able to process data and to adjust an installation based on this data. Solves problems adequately by analysing them thoroughly by yourself or together with colleagues
Reports findings and recommendations to the Manager Service. The Service Engineer provides his colleagues with constructive and critical feedback to help them optimize the installations and the performances.

Job requirements & background

Higher professional education in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial refrigeration or maritime officer
Five years of work experience in a similar job within the industry, where you have gained work experience with rotating equipment (compressors, pumps, process installations, etc.)
Experience with refrigeration systems (STEK) is a plus
You are willing to work abroad for a maximum of 50% of the employment.
You are willing to participate in consignment shifts
You are able to perfectly express yourself in the Dutch and English language
