Senior Project Engineer Mechanical 

Your role as a Senior Project Engineer Mechanical

As a Senior Project Engineer Mechanical, you will be a key member of our project team, working closely with a Project Manager, CAD Engineer, E&I Engineer, and Process Engineer. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you’ll work with your team to take projects from concept to completion. Using your technical expertise, you will design and oversee the manufacture of efficient mechanical systems that meet our sustainability goals.

The tasks of a Service and Commissioning Engineer

Develop detailed, functional mechanical systems with focus on innovation and sustainability
Select the right equipment that meet project specifications and requirements
Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Work closely with procurement teams to streamline the sourcing and purchasing processes
Coordinate all logistics activities, including land, sea, and air transport to ensure smooth international operations

Job requirements & background

You are an analytical and solutions-oriented Senior Project Engineer Mechanical who can oversee all aspects of international projects, from sales handover to final delivery. You thrive in a collaborative, dynamic environment and are committed to improving both commercial and technical aspects of installations.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent through work experience
5+ years of (international) experience in a similar role.
Experience in sectors such as process industries, biogas, equipment manufacturing, or marine engineering is a plus, as is experience with international projects and mechanical component selection
Structured and results-oriented with a flexible, proactive attitude
Proficient in ERP systems such as ISAH, Dynamics, or SAP, MS Office, Inventor, Plant 3D, and P&ID knowledge.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Dutch, other languages a plus.
