As a CAD Engineer with us, your role is to turn concepts into detailed designs, overseeing projects from start to finish with an eye on budget and operations. You will be expected to understand and apply industry regulations, produce various design documents, and collaborate closely with vendors and other engineers. The tasks of a CAD Engineer

Design and detail piping systems from conceptual models to comprehensive layouts, including P&ID’s, 3D and 2D drawings, ensuring adherence to specifications and equipment arrangements.
Execute piping design work and layout, and produce accurate piping documentation and drawings, monitoring project design costs and timelines.
Collaborate closely with engineering peers, departments, and clients, facilitating effective interfaces and project cost monitoring.
Perform fieldwork to gather information, create and verify field sketches against actual site conditions, and ensure drawing accuracy.
Generate and review detailed design drawings, including orthographics, 3D models, plans, sections, isometrics for project scope, and technical precision.
Interface with clients to discuss and adjust project designs and scope changes, and model vendor equipment for accurate project representation.

Qualifications & background of a CAD Engineer

A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Process Technology.
3 to 5 years of experience in piping design and equipment layout, preferably in natural gas, biogas, or chemical processing sectors.
Familiarity with industry standards such as API, ASME, ASTM, and PIP.
Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Inventor, Vault Professional, ISAH ERP, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Proven field experience and the ability to apply industry standards in practical applications.
